Accessibility
Last updated: 21 August 2026
We want Emmenia to be usable by everyone tracking their cycle and symptoms, including people who use assistive technology. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA and treat accessibility as part of building each screen, not an afterthought.
What we do
- Meaning is never carried by colour alone — we pair it with text, shape or an icon.
- Interactive elements are keyboard-reachable with a visible focus state.
- Status changes (loading, errors, confirmations) are announced to screen readers.
- Touch targets are sized for comfortable tapping on a phone.
- The interface respects your system light/dark preference and reduced-motion setting.
- Forms have real labels, clear inline errors and support password-manager autofill.
Known limitations
Accessibility is ongoing. Some newer areas may not yet fully meet our target, and third-party content (for example an embedded video call) can behave differently. If you hit a barrier, we want to hear about it and will prioritise a fix.
Report a barrier
Email support@emmenia.com with the page and what went wrong (and the assistive technology you use, if relevant). We'll acknowledge it and tell you what we can do.
